Who is Varsity Networks?
Varsity Networks (VN) is an Internet company that provides web sites to school sports teams. VN web sites provide a place for Players, Coaches, Parents, Alumni, Administrators and Fans to share information and learn more about their team. VN web sites help sports programs reach higher levels of success by providing features and tools that Coaches across the country have asked us for and are currently using.

Do I have to be technical to use it?
Not at all! Varsity Networks sites are designed so that anyone can administer them with no special computer skills. Once you have been designated as a site administrator, you will receive information on how to use the simple and robust tools that come with your site.
Why Register?
Registration is an important part of your Varsity Networks team web site. By registering, you become part of your team community on-line.
If you are a coach, you can administer your site, send emails to all registered players and other members, and become part of the Varsity Networks community of coaches, where we will help you with your site and your program.
If you are a player, you will enter your personal information for your team roster and your own bio, and provide contact information so your coach can include you in all correspondence. You will also provide information for your parents, so your coach can reach them as well and so they can stay informed.
If you are an alumnus, your registration gives you a listing in the Alumni Directory, and a way to keep up with other alumni as well as the current program.

How do I get started as a COACH?
To get started all you need to do is follow the REGISTER link to register on the site. You will be sent a user name and password along with a user guide for the tools to enter information and use your site. The tools are easy to use and will save you endless time with your administrative tasks. The site was designed by coaches and players, for coaches and players, and we are confident you will find it to be a great tool for your team.
What do I do as a PLAYER?
All players should register to appear on the roster and be kept up to date on team information. As a player, you can provide information to build your bio, add pictures, post scores, etc... Please speak to your coach if you would like to have a bigger role with the web site, such as write articles or update the schedule. We also ask that all players spread the word to Alumni and fans and help make the site the best it can be. And if your coach hasn't registered yet, tell him/her about the site!
What about the advertising?
VN reserves the right to put advertisements on the web sites, to help with the cost of providing web site services. VN is extremely team and sport conscious and will work with teams to insure all advertisements on the sites are appropriate. If you ever have a concern about any ad on your site, let us know.
If you decide to upgrade to the Team Assist Pro service, there is an option available at an additional fee to remove all advertisements from the site.
How many people can use the site?
There is no limit to the number of members that can be registered on your site. You can designate as many people as you like to administer the site, however we recommend you keep the number to just as many as necessary, since too many administrators can be difficult to manage.
Is the site secure?
We take security seriously at VN. TeamAssist administration is accessible only to password-protected user accounts, and a number of features (such as Roster information) can be password protected so only registered members can see it. Several access levels are available, so different users can administer different parts of the site. The head coach typically has full privileges on the site, but can designate someone else as an administrator.
